Joel D'Alba Selected to Receive 2023 Arvid Anderson Public Sector Labor and Employment Attorney of the Year Award

Joel D'Alba has been selected to receive the 2023 Arvid Anderson Public Sector Labor and Employment Attorney of the Year Award. This prestigious award recognizes an attorney whose entire career has substantially contributed to the development of public sector labor law. The award will be presented to Joel in November at the ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law's 17th Annual Section Conference in Seattle, Washington.

Three AGD Attorneys Recognized in 2023 Super Lawyers and Rising Stars Lists

Joel D'Alba and Margaret Angelucci have once again been selected to the 2023 Illinois Super Lawyers list. Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected to receive this honor. Joel has been recognized on the Super Lawyers list from 2005-2023, and Margaret from 2010-2023. In addition, Matt Pierce has again been selected to the 2023 Illinois Rising Stars list. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected to receive this honor. Matt has appeared on the Rising Stars list since 2021.

On December 9, 2015 the Chicago Chapter of LERA (The Labor and Employment Relations Association) presented Joel D’Alba with their Distinguished Service Award for his “strong advocacy and …long standing service to the (labor and employment) field and profession.” LERA is a national association of labor and employment professionals dedicated to education and practice in labor and employment law, compensation and benefits, human resources, academic research, etc.
